Our latest feature Tomorrow Is Saturday has begun it’s festival run with selection at the Galway Film Fleadh. We thought this would be a great opportunity to show you some of our behind the scenes images from our time filming this feature.
Tomorrow is Saturday is an intimate portrait of the life and work of Irish collage artist Sean Hillen. Diagnosed late in life with Aspergers, Hillen has reached a point in his career where he finds it almost impossible to work.
Trapped in a tiny terraced house, full to the brim with junk, unfinished art and boxes of memories, Sean embarks on a journey to declutter and make sense of his life as he waits the arrival of his beloved Amy – an American woman with whom he communicates daily but has never met.

Behind The Scenes
The Tomorrow is Saturday team working on the de-clutter, it took three weeks and twenty runs in the truck but Sean could not part with a lot of his boxes so it all went back in again.

Sean Hillen promises to give NIVAL more of his archive. Donna Romano visits Sean to see what he may have, the problem now is whether she has a drawer big enough!

After enduring 3 weeks of de-cluttering Sean plans a big escape from the team!!

To see the finished result you’ll have to look out for the film which is currently in it’s festival run.
